Super fast and simple green pea soup

Frozen peas are quite wonderful. They are cheap, beautiful, healthy, tasty and very-very simple to prepare or add to any kinds of foods. This soup is perfect when you are busy and very hungry and want to make something fast and tasty :)

serves 3-4 people

Preparation time: 10 minutes.

  • 14 oz / 400 g frozen peas
  • salt and/or soy sauce to taste
  • 2 cups / ½ l water
  • a couple of slices of bread for roasting

Boil peas with salt and/or soy sauce in the water for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, roast the bread and cut into strips. When the peas are soft, turn down the heat and blend the soup until smooth. Taste and add more salt or soy sauce if needed. Serve with roasted bread strips.
